GLUCORED is a combination tablet used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus by controlling the blood glucose levels by stimulating the pancreas to release a sufficient amount of insulin and lowering the glucose production in the liver, improving insulin sensitivity.

this medication may cause side effects such as hypoglycemia, altered taste, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, headache and upper respiratory tract infection and severe side effects like lactic acidosis. and it may also lead to vitamin b12 deficiency. inform your doctor if these effects worsen your condition.

glibenclamide and metformin tablets may cause hypoglycemia. inform your doctor if you observe symptoms of hypoglycemia such as nausea, headache, irritability, hunger, sweating, dizziness, fast heart rate and feeling anxious or shaky.

hypoglycemia is mainly seen when you skip or delay your meal & alcohol consumption, stress, or use other antidiabetic medication combined with this medicine. it may increase your blood sugar levels and increase the risk of kidney damage, blindness, nerves problem, and delayed wound healing. if you observe this condition, take some amount of honey or fruit juice or candies immediately. do not stop this medication without informing your doctor.
