Flucort cream is a corticosteroid used to treat inflammation and itching, which is caused due to various skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.
This medication may cause side effects such as dryness, burning sensation, itching, local irritation, allergic contact dermatitis, secondary infection, skin atrophy, or hypopigmentation. Inform your doctor if these effects bother or worsen your skin condition or persist for a longer duration.
Do not stop medication without informing your doctor even if you feel better, as it may take several weeks to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine regularly to achieve effective results. If you stop the use of medication, it may lead to a flare-up of the symptoms.
Stop using the medication and consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after four weeks, as this medication is not used for more than four weeks. Please do not cover the infected areas with airtight dressing or bandages unless advised by your doctor, as it may increase the risk of unwanted reactions.
