FERISOME 15TAB

An ferisome tablet is a hematinic used to treat anaemia, and its deficiency occurs due to poor diet &poor absorption of food. It works by boosting the production of red blood cells in the body.

This medication dose and duration will be given based on your medical condition as prescribed by the doctor. Take this tablet orally with or without food, but try to regularly have it at a fixed time. Take this medication as advised by the doctor. Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. Do not take this medication longer than recommended by the doctor. This medication is generally given at least 4 weeks before pregnancy and continued up to 3 months. Drink plenty of water or fluids to prevent dry mouth.

The medication’s most common side effects are bloating, loss of appetite, dry mouth, diarrhoea, skin rashes. Most of these side effects do not need medical attention and gradually resolve over time. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately. You must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. Avoid alcohol consumption and dairy products like coffee & tea.

Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have liver & kidney problems, and using any other medication. Ferisome tablets are not recommended during breastfeeding.
