Evanew is used in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhoea, and gastrointestinal discomfort. It is also used in the prevention and treatment of diarrhoea associated with the use of antibiotics. It works by restoring the normal intestinal microorganisms, thereby inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria. It also provides local immunity.
Take medicine exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Do not miss the dose even if you feel better. Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. Complete the duration of treatment and do not skip the doses. The most common side effects of the evanew tablet include cramps or pain in the stomach area, constipation, diarrhoea, mucus in the stool, swollen or bloated stomach area, gas, discomfort in the upper stomach area. If the side effects persist or worsen, then inform the doctor immediately. Avoid alcohol consumption and smoking while taking this medicine for a better outcome.
