Eberfun cream is an antifungal medication. It works by inhibiting fungal cell membrane and stops the growth of fungi on your skin. Hence it treats the fungal infection. This medication must be used in dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use more than the recommended dose, as it may increase side effects.
If your condition has not improved after four weeks of treatment, consult your doctor. Wash the infected area before applying cream and keep it dry. Wash your shocks and shoe daily to prevent the spread of infection.
Common side effects are skin redness, irritation, or itching at the site of infection. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth. If this cream accidentally got into these areas, then wash it water thoroughly. Consult your doctor if you experience any allergic reaction like rash, swollen lips, throat, or face, swallowing or breathing problems, feeling dizzy and nauseous.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and using any other medications containing steroids.
