Diamin tablet is a tricyclic antidepressant used to treat depression and bedwetting in children aged six years and above. In depression, it works by increasing the number of natural substances in the brain that are important in stabilising and enhancing the mood.

This medication may cause side effects such as increased heart rate, blurred vision, dryness in the mouth, difficulty in urination, and constipation. Inform your doctor if these effects bother or worsen your condition or persist for a longer duration.

It may cause dizziness and sleepiness; do not drive or do activities that require mental focus. To reduce dizziness, rise slowly if you are sitting or lying down on the ground. Avoid alcohol consumption as it may interact with the drug to cause serious health issues. Please do not exceed more than the recommended dose as it may lead to toxicity and adverse effects.

Do not stop the medication unless told by your doctor. You have to complete the course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor even if you feel better. Sudden abrupt may lead to severe complications. Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you have liver & kidney problems and using any other medication. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be a pregnant or lactating mother.
