debrin is an emollient. it works by forming an oil layer on the top of the skin that helps to rehydrate dry and scaly skin.
use this medication as prescribed by your doctor. do not use more than the recommended dose. avoid contact with eyes, lips, and nose. if it accidentally got into these areas, wash with water immediately.
common side effects are redness, irritation, stinging or burning at the site of application. if these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
