Description-
It is a mucolytic and mucokinetic agent. Makes the sputum thinner and less viscous and therefore more easily removed by coughing. It breaks down acid mucopolysaccharide fibers in the sputum. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic medicine whereas dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant.
