Dariten OD tablet is a muscarinic antagonist used to relieve urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control urination which is caused due to overactive bladder by blocking the specific receptors, which result in relaxing the muscles of the urinary bladder.
this medication may cause side effects such as constipation, xerostomia, headache, dry eye, nasal dryness, hypersensitivity reaction and angioedema. Inform your doctor if these effects bother or worsen your condition or persist for a longer duration.
please do not exceed more than the recommended dose as it may lead to toxicity and adverse effects. Do not stop the medication. you have to complete the course of the medication as prescribed by your doctor even if you feel better. sudden abruptness may cause an increased frequency of seizures and leads to severe complications.
avoid alcohol consumption and smoking while taking this medicine as it may increase side effects. Do not drive while you are using this medication as it may affect your ability to drive by causing vision impairment, dizziness and sleepiness.
