Daclacure is a direct-acting antiviral agent against the hepatitis c virus (hcv) used to treat chronic hcv genotype 1 and 3 infections.
Daclacure is an inhibitor of nonstructural protein 5a (ns5a) of the hepatitis-c virus, which works by lowering the viral load in the body. Daclacure tablet is used alone or in combination with other antiviral medications.
This medication can be taken with the combination of sofosbuvir to attain a better result of treatment, usually for 12 weeks to 24 weeks.
You are advised to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. You must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. This medication has to be taken for several weeks or months for you to see or feel its benefits.
This medication's most common side effects are fatigue, headache, nausea, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), and anaemia (low number of red blood cells). Take daclatasvir at around the same time every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take daclatasvir precisely as directed.
Continue to take daclatasvir even if you feel better. Do not stop taking daclatasvir or sofosbuvir without talking to your doctor.
