Description

Clopitab- CV Gold 10 Capsule is used for the prevention of heart attack. It is a combination of medicines that prevent clot formation in the blood vessels. It also helps
to reduce increased cholesterol and triglycerides levels. Clopitab-CV Gold 10mg Cap is composed of three medicines. Atorvastatin is a lipid- lowering medication that blocks the enzyme required to make cholesterol in the body. It reduces the bad cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides (TG) and increases the levels of good cholesterol (HDL). Clopidogrel and Aspirin are blood thinners that collectively prevent the formation of a clot in the blood vessels. It also helps to reduce the increased levels of bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein and triglycerides). Together it helps to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and heart-related chest pain (angina).

Answer- Yes, the use of Clopitab-CV Gold 10mg can cause nausea and vomiting.
Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried
foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids
by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice
signs of dehydration like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of
urination.

2. Can Clopitab-CV Gold 10 mg cause blood thinning?

Answer- Yes, It contains clopidogrel and aspirin that causes blood thinning. It works by
preventing platelets (a type of blood cells) from sticking together and forming clots
which in turn prevents the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Answer- No. this medicine contains Atorvastatin which is pregnancy category X
