Budate tablet belongs to steroids. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that cause the inner surface of the large intestine where it becomes ulcerated and inflamed (swollen), resulting in pain.
Take this medication as this medication as prescribed. Take it regularly and at a fixed time daily. The dose and duration depend on your medical medication. Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor.
Common side effects are headache, respiratory infection, nausea, back pain, dizziness, indigestion, and flatulence. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have tuberculosis, any infections in the mouth, and lung or liver disease. If you take it for a longer time, it may decrease bone density and damage the eyes. Advise the patient to go for regular bone density and eye tests.
