chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that helps to relieve allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. paracetamol is a pain reliever that also reduces fever by blocking certain chemical messengers, which causes pain and symptoms. phenylephrine hydrochloride is a decongestant that helps in narrowing the small blood vessels providing relief from stuffiness in the nose. sodium citrate is a mucolytic that helps in thinning and loosening mucous. methanol is an organic compound that provides a cooling sensation and relieves throat irritation.

this syrup can be given with or without food in a dose and frequency advised by your doctor. the dose and duration of treatment is as per the severity of the present condition, which your doctor monitors. the common side effects of using this syrup are headache, drowsiness, nausea and vomiting.
