This medicine does not work immediately or prevent the already existed breathing trouble, so always carry your medical inhaler with you for an emergency. Do not stop the medication unless told by your doctor.
Do not consume alcohol while on this medication. Ask the patient to avoid high caffeinated products like coffee, tea, and dark chocolates.
The most common side effects of this medicine are vomiting, headache, nausea, and stomach upset. It may also cause irritability, insomnia (difficulty falling asleep), or fast heart rate. These side effects do not require medical attention. Consult your doctor if these do not subside or go away.
