Baloforce is an antibiotic medicine used to treat various bacterial infections like urinary tract, tonsils, nose, sinus, throat, female genital organs, skin, soft tissue and lungs, especially in pneumonia and used in prostatitis. It works by killing the infection-causing microorganisms, cures the infection and prevents its complications.
You may experience some common side effects with this drug like nausea, vomiting's, stomach pain, altered liver function tests and diarrhoea. These side effects will subside on their own after the completion of the course. Inform your doctor if symptoms worsen, and if you find blood in your stools, do not combine this drug with other minerals and vitamins that contain aluminium and magnesium.
This medication may result in tendonitis and tendon rupture, and muscle weakness in myasthenia gravis patients. In kidney disease and hypersensitivity to quinolones, the drug is contraindicated. Let your doctor know if you have any liver diseases or other medical conditions that may affect the treatment. Inform the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor will decide to use this medicine in pregnancy and breastfeeding by weighing the benefits and potential risks.
