Description-

This medicine belongs to penicillin antibiotics which consist of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin inhibits the cell wall synthesis in bacteria thus resulting in bacterial death, Clavulanic acid which is  beta-lactamase inhibitor,  prevents bacteria from destroying the efficacy of amoxycillin.Thus, the action of Clavulanic acid allows Amoxycillin to destroy the bacteria.It  is a broad-spectrum antibiotic  works by killing the harmful bacteria that cause infections.
