Atorlip belongs to the class of statins. It reduces the bad cholesterol and increases the good cholesterol in the blood to prevents the risk of heart diseases.

It is used in the treatment of hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, and hypertriglyceridemia. This medicine also prevents heart attack and stroke. Take this medication in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine too early, or even if you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early, your condition may become worsen.

To get better results, take this medicine at a fixed time. The side effects include constipation, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, and flatulence; if these symptoms bother you for a longer duration, inform your doctor. If you experience yellowing of eyes and muscle pains while using this medicine, inform your doctor.

Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you suffer from liver, kidney, and muscle diseases. If you have diabetes and low blood pressure, seek a doctor's advice before using this medicine.
