Apriswift-kit capsule is a prescription-only medicine used to treat and prevent nausea & vomiting followed by chemotherapy. It works by blocking the signal in the brain, which triggers the feeling of nausea and vomiting.
Apriswift-kit capsule is usually taken with or without food for a specified duration as prescribed by your physician. The dose, frequency and duration depend upon the severity of the condition and how you respond to the medication. Take this medicine as long doctor recommends you. Do stop the medication abruptly as it can trigger the symptoms to reoccur or even worsen the condition. Inform your doctor if you are on any other medicines for other illnesses and may affect or get affected by this medicine.
Most common side effects include constipation, indigestion, headache, tiredness, loss of appetite and hiccups. Most of these symptoms are temporary and resolve with time. This medicine can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Hence you are advised not to drive while on this medication. Avoid consumption of alcohol while on this medication as it induces excessive sleepiness. Inform your doctor if you intend to be pregnant, pregnant and breastfeeding before starting this medication.
