ANGICAM M tablet used to treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). amlodipine besylate is a calcium channel blocker, and metoprolol is a beta-blocker. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and decreasing heart rate. thus, it improves your blood flow.

take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and duration depend on your medical condition and how you are responding to medication.Do not stop the medication unless told by your doctor. Avoid smoking, reduce intake of salt, and a low-fat diet along with this medication.

common side effects are depression, itching, nausea, rash, shortness of breath, slow heart rate, tiredness, abdominal pain, decreased blood pressure, diarrhoea, fatigue, and sleepiness. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor. Avoid potassium rich-foods because they may increase potassium levels in the blood. advise the patient to go for regular monitoring of blood pressure and blood tests.

inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, (or) have liver or kidney problems, or have severe dehydration.
