AMIGABA-LS tablet contains two medications amitriptyline and gabapentin. Gabapentin is structurally similar to the gaba neurotransmitter. It works by preventing calcium to the cell membrane. Amitriptyline belongs to a tricyclic antidepressant class of medication. amitriptyline increases noradrenaline and sertraline neurotransmission by stopping the noradrenaline and serotonin transporter at nerve terminals. Thus, both drugs help relieve pain caused by nerve damage due to diabetes, shingles, or spinal cord injury.

This medication also helps in relieving symptoms like mood changes, sleep problems, and tiredness. It improves your physical & social functioning and overall quality of life.

This medication's most common side effects are aggressiveness, sleeplessness, behaviour changes, irritability, restlessness, mouth dryness, vision disturbances, dizziness, constipation, weight gain, and a rise in a heartbeat. Most of these side effects present for a shorter duration; if they persist for a more extended period, inform your doctor.
