ALEX S/F LOZENGE 10TAB

Alex lozenge is issued to treat dry cough it works by decreasing activity in medulla region of the brain thereby suppressing the cough reflex.

Your allowed to take this medicine as prescribed by doctor. This lozenge should be taken for 2- 3days until symptoms get stopped.

Abuse of this medication may result in serious side effects like brain damage, seizure, death. Alcohol consumption must be avoided it may lead to liver disease.

Most common side effects of this medication are nausea, vomiting, trouble breathing and severe dizziness. You may be prescribed with anti- inflammatory supplements to reduce symptoms.

This medication may affect the liver and kidney functions. Your doctor may advice certain tests before and after the treatment to check for these issues.

Before taking this medication inform your doctor if you are pregnant or using any other medications. This medication is not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding it may cause harm to the baby.
