AGMACET is an antihistamine tablet used to treat the symptoms of hay fever, upper respiratory tract allergies and other allergies such as sneezing, runny nose and burning, itchy eyes and also symptoms of skin allergies such as rash, itching or urticaria, some seasonal allergies and symptoms caused due to allergies to substances such as dust mites, animal dander, and mould.

this medication is usually taken only on the days you have symptoms, and some may need long term use to prevent allergy symptoms. take medicine as directed by the doctor. excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects.

this medication may cause side effects such as dry mouth, headache or dizziness, sedation, sleepiness, fatigue, drowsiness or tiredness, restlessness, sore throat, stomach upset, diarrhoea and nausea. inform your doctor if these side effects bother or worsen your condition.

please do not exceed more than the recommended dose as it may lead to toxicity and adverse effects. avoid alcohol consumption as it may lead to cause excessive drowsiness. do not stop the medication. you have to complete the course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor even if you feel better. sudden abrupt may lead to severe complications.

before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, have liver & kidney problems, and use any other medications.
