Abnib is an antineoplastic class of medication. It is used in the treatment of breast cancer who have already undergone treatment with other anticancer medicines. It is either used alone or in combination with other medications. This medicine may take few weeks to several months to show its effectiveness. Do not discontinue this medicine until your doctor advises you. Do not take excess medicine than recommended by your physician.
Abnib stop or slow the spread of cancer cells by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. It also reduces the signs of breast cancer, such as breast lumps, blood discharge from nipples, or alterations in the structure or texture of the breast. Beforehand tell your doctor if you have liver disease, as it may cause hepatotoxicity. Your doctor may advise you to take regular liver function tests. Drink plenty of fluids while using this medicine, as it may sometimes cause diarrhoea.
Males must inform their doctor if their partner intends to be pregnant as it leads to abnormality. Use effective contraception methods to avoid pregnancy.
This medication's most common side effects are back pain, diarrhoea, constipation, hot flashes, nausea, rash, vomiting, fatigue, liver damage, and insomnia. These side effects persist for a shorter duration. If you experience them for a longer duration, inform your doctor.
