Nac belongs to the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) used to treat acute migraine headaches, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, or painful menses. It works by impeding the synthetic impact of a catalyst called cyclo-oxygenase (cox), which produces prostaglandins that are answerable for the feeling of agony and irritation created at the destinations of injury and harm.
