atenolol is a selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocking agent that works specifically on the heart and effectively reduces the heart rate.
chlorthalidone is a thiazide diuretic, also known as a water pill that effectively removes extra water and some electrolytes like sodium and chloride. it also relaxes the blood vessels, which eases blood flow, thereby reducing blood pressure.
take this table as instructed by your doctor. the dose and frequency of dosing are as per your doctor’s instructions. do not stop the medication until and unless your doctor has asked to. use this tablet regularly to get maximum benefits of the treatment.
the side effects caused by this tablet are headache, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, cold extremities, slow heart rate, increased blood uric acid, electrolyte imbalance and glucose intolerance. if these adverse effects persist, consult your doctor immediately.
