GENPRAZ DSR tablet is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer disease. Domperidone works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestine, allowing food to move more quickly through the stomach. Rabeprazole sodium works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach.
You are advised to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. This medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor.
The most common side effects of this medication are diarrhoea, stomach pain, dryness in the mouth, dizziness, weakness and flu-like symptoms. inform your doctor if you experience any of the above side effects.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, or have liver & kidney problems and using any other medicines.
This medication is not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding as it may harm the baby.
