MYOSPAS TH tablets are used to treat ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gout, back pain, sprain, strain, sports injury, frozen shoulder, dislocation, fracture, bone and joint pain. it works by inhibiting the action of cyclooxygenase (cox) enzymes, which produce chemical prostaglandins at sites of injury or damage, resulting in pain, swelling and inflammation. diclofenac sodium and thiocolchicoside tablet is used alone or in combination with other medications. you are advised to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. caution must be followed as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor.
alcohol consumption needs to be avoided while on this medication as it may lead to drowsiness, dizziness and severe stomach problems.
the most common side effects of this medication are dizziness, flatulence, flushing, vomiting, visual disturbances, loss of appetite, stomach pain and heartburn.
before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, or have liver & kidney problems and using any other medications. this medication is not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding as it may harm the baby.
