Metonce is used in the treatment of high blood pressure, angina (chest pain), cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythm), prevention of migraine, long-term prophylaxis after myocardial infarction, and adjunctive treatment for thyrotoxicosis (overactive thyroid gland). Metonce works by blocking the receptors in the heart, which are responsible for raising blood pressure. This medicine also relaxes the heart muscles.
The dose and frequency of metonce depend on the severity of the condition. Do not increase or decrease the dose by yourself. Seek a doctor's advice. Take medicine exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
