GLINIL M is a combination tablet used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus by controlling the blood glucose levels by stimulating the pancreas to release a sufficient amount of insulin and lowering the glucose production in the liver, improving insulin sensitivity.
this medication may cause side effects such as hypoglycemia, altered taste, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, headache and upper respiratory tract infection and severe side effects like lactic acidosis. and it may also lead to vitamin b12 deficiency. inform your doctor if these effects worsen your condition.
glibenclamide and metformin tablets may cause hypoglycemia. inform your doctor if you observe symptoms of hypoglycemia such as nausea, headache, irritability, hunger, sweating, dizziness, fast heart rate and feeling anxious or shaky.
