ORS powder is a rehydration salt. Orspowder consists of ors(sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium citrate). This powder works by replenishing the body fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration. And also while exercising in hot or humid weather leads to diarrhoea, vomiting, muscle cramping, and exertional heat illness.
ORS powder is used alone or in combination with other medications. Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor.
The most common side effects of an ORS powder are nausea and vomiting.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, have liver & kidney problems, and use any other medications.
