dolo syrup is used to treat aches, fever. it effectively relieves pain caused by headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, menstrual pain and arthritis. it works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever.
it is given orally, preferably at a fixed time every day. you can take this syrup before and after food. it is best to take this medication after food as it can irritate the inner lining of an empty stomach.
the dose and duration will depend on your child’s age, body weight, and severity of infection, so stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by your doctor.
if your child vomits within 30 minutes after taking medicine, let the child calm down and repeat the same dose. shake well before using this syrup.
the most common side effects are indigestion, stomach pain, nausea and vomiting. inform your doctor if your symptoms are not subsided or persist for a longer period.
please do not take this syrup for longer than needed as it is dangerous.
