Orasep mouth paint is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth and throat (oropharyngeal infections). It works by binding to the mucosa of the inner surface of lips and cheeks and then is slowly released into the saliva through which it reaches cell membranes of the fungus and thus kills the fungi.
Use this medicine as directed by the physician. Even if you are feeling better, continue taking the medication until the completion of the course. Do not eat, drink and smoke for at least 30 minutes after using the drug.
Orasep mouth paint has very few side effects, but consult your doctor if you get hypersensitivity reactions like swelling of lips, face, throat and shortness of breath.
