Utodin belongs to the class of beta 2 adrenoreceptor agonist that is used to treat premature labour. It works on the uterus muscles, thus relaxing the contractions and preventing premature delivery.
The most common side effects are dryness of the mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, loss of appetite, breathlessness, arrhythmia, and chest pain. Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose as it may worsen the condition.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, blood pressure, or a thyroid gland. Advise the patient to go for regular monitoring of blood pressure while taking this medication.
