Path g tablet is to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. Pioglitazone works by increasing the insulin in the body. Glimepiride works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas to lower blood glucose. It helps to control blood sugar.
Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Don’t stop this medication unless told by your doctor. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it increases the risk of side effects.
The common side effects of Path g are nausea, headache, diarrhoea, oedema, cold symptoms, leg pain, decreased and accidental injury. Inform your doctor if you experience any of the above effects.
Inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, and heart problems. Your doctor advises you to monitor your kidney function test.
