Levolin tablet is used to treat asthma, inflammation of lungs and helps to relieve symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, chest tightness, coughing and difficulty in breathing caused by bronchospasm in respiratory diseases such as bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (copd).
Levolin tablet is used alone or in combination with other medications. You are advised to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Caution must be followed as excess intake may lead to serious adverse effects. Medication should not be stopped unless told by your doctor. You should inform your doctor regarding any kind of allergies that you have & high blood pressure, pre-existing diseases and any upcoming surgeries.
Most common side effects of this medication are headache, nausea & vomiting, diarrhea and weakness. For some instance, cardiac arrest may be associated with abuse of levolin. If symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately. Overdose of levolin tablet may provoke few symptoms such as increased heart rate, angina, tremors, increased blood pressure and seizures, hypokalemia (decreased potassium). Uses and benefits of this medicine may vary from person to person, hence need to seek doctor's advise.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, or had liver & kidney problems and using any medications. Levolin tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Your doctor may weight the benefits over risk of the drug.
