Defcort is an adrenal glucocorticoid medication. It is used to treat inflammatory conditions like asthma, arthritis, and allergies. It is also used to treat duchenne muscular dystrophy in patients two years of age and older.
Defcort works by decreasing inflammation and reducing immune response in individuals by acting on glucocorticoid receptors. It is not recommended to use in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
