Milza tablet is used to treat fibromyalgia and depression. It works by inhibiting the reuptake of neurotransmitters like norepinephrine and serotonin.
Milza tablet is used alone or in combination with other medications. Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. Please don’t stop the medicine suddenly though you feel better, as it may worsen the condition. It takes 2 - 4 weeks to show the desired outcomes, so take medications as prescribed without skipping doses. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medicine. Avoid activities requiring mental alertness or coordination as drug acts on the central nervous system. Consult your doctor if you develop unusual mood swings, behaviour changes, suicidal thoughts and depression.
Taking this medication may result in some common side effects like nausea, vomiting, insomnia, anorexia, increased sweating and sexual dysfunction, which can be resolved but consult medical care if they worsen.
Before taking this medication, you need to inform your physician if you are pregnant, a nursing mother or planning for a baby. Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, heart diseases or a history of seizures.
