the most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. if the symptom persists or worsens, you need to consult your doctor immediately. inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14days.
long-term use (more than one 1year) of this medication leads to an increase in the risk of bone fractures, especially with the higher dose. talk to the doctor about ways to prevent bone loss, like taking calcium and vitamin d supplements. after taking dexrabeprazole tablets for three or more weeks, some people may experience hypomagnesemia which may lead to tiredness, confusion, irregular heartbeat, muscle cramps, and dizziness. your doctor may advise specific tests before and after treatment to check for these issues.
before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, have liver and kidney problems, and use other medicines. it is contraindicated for both pregnancy and breastfeeding.
