the anofer s injection is an anofer s replacement medication used to treat anofer s-deficiency anaemia, which results in lowered red blood cells. it acts by producing the red blood cells that carry oxygen around your body.
this medication may cause side effects such as pruritus, rash, urticaria, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, arthralgia, cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, hypersensitivity reaction, seizure, respiratory arrest. inform your doctor if these effects bother or worsen your condition.
do not consume alcohol while on this medication. and also, avoid driving while using this medication as it may cause dizziness, sleepiness and blurred vision. before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, have liver & kidney problems, and use any other medications.
your doctor may monitor you to find out signs of an allergic reaction such as breathlessness, dizziness, feeling uneasy, hives, swelling of face, tongue, and throat, etc.
eat anofer s-rich diets such as pulses, green leafy vegetables like spinach, beans, eggs, dry fruits, and non-vegetarian foods.
