VOLITRA-MR contains two medicines, diclofenac potassium and thiocolchicoside. diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) that inhibits certain chemical messengers in the brain, which cause pain and inflammation. thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that acts on the brain and spinal cord centre by relieving muscle stiffness or spasms and improve muscle movement.
VOLITRA-MR tablet is used alone or in combination with other medications. take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. you must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. do not stop this medication unless told by your doctor. alcohol consumption needs to be avoided as it increases the risk of liver impairment.
the common side effects of these medications are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, heartburn, epigastric pain, and loss of appetite.
before using this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or have liver & kidney problems.
