Prax tablet belongs to antiplatelet agent. It works by preventing platelets from sticking together, thus reducing the formation of blood clots. Hence, it reduces the risk of heart attack or stroke.
This medication is used alone or in combination with other antiplatelet medication. It is better to at a fixed time daily to get the best results. Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose as it may lead to serious side effects.
Common side effects are bleeding, stomach upset, headache, and nosebleed. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
