E FLO eye drops are a combination of drugs used to treat redness and swelling in the eyes due to infection or allergy. it works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that causes redness and swelling in the eye. it also reduces swelling, itching, and soreness after any eye injuries or eye surgery.
this medication dose and duration will be given based on your medical condition as prescribed by the doctor. this medicine is for external use only. wash your hands before using this medicine. it is advised to check the label before use. hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. wipe off the extra liquid. try not to blink or rub your eye. make sure you remove contact lenses if you wear them and wait at least 15minutes before putting them back.
medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. do not take this medication longer than recommended by the doctor. make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
the most common side effects are eye irritation, burning sensation, or watery eyes. if the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately. immediately rinse it with water in case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth. do not drive if you experience persistent visual disturbance and site changes while using benzalkonium chloride or fluorometholone eye drops.
before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant and breastfeeding or have kidney problems or cornea problems, and use any other medication.
