ontic hcl tablet is an antiemetic agent. it acts by blocking a chemical messenger called serotonin in the brain that causes nausea and vomiting. ontic hcl tablet is helpful to treat and prevent chemotherapy-induced or post-operative nausea & vomiting. ontic hcl tablet is given alone or in combination with other medications. take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. don’t take excess doses. usually, this medication is for few days only.
the common side effects of this tablet are headache, stomach upset or constipation, and feeling tired.
