NEPACENT is a combination of two medications, namely nepafenac and oxychloro complex, which belongs to the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) class. it is used to give relief from pain & inflammation and reduces the risk of macular oedema. it works by blocking the release of a certain chemical messenger, which causes pain and inflammation in the eye.
This medication's most common side effects are increased ocular pressure, decreased vision, watery eyes, and allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergy). these side effects usually resolve with time.
This medication is for external use only. check the label for directions before use. wash your hands thoroughly before using these eye drops. before using, remove your contact lenses if you wear them and wait for at least 15 minutes before keeping them back.
Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid and wipe off the extra liquid. these eye drops' most common side effects are eye irritation, burning sensation, redness, and watery eyes. these side effects are usually temporary and resolve with time.
Do not stop using these eye drops unless told by your doctor. before using these eye drops, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
