tazret cream belongs to a class of drugs called retinoid used to treat acne, plaque psoriasis and fine wrinkles on the face. it works by putting an end to excessive growth and thickening of epidermal cells.
tazret cream is for external use only. it must be taken as prescribed by your doctor. it must apply the cream slowly and evenly to the affected area. wash your hands properly before applying this medication. don’t cover the affected area with plaster or bandage after applying the cream. it should not use this medication for long-term or too many times a day. consult your doctor once symptoms resolve. after applying this cream, avoid exposure to the sun as the drug causes sun sensitivity.
the most common side effects are pruritis, reddened skin, burning, inflamed skin and peeling of skin at the application site. if symptoms get worsen or don’t improve within 4 – 6 weeks, consult your doctor. avoid drug exposure to eyes, nose, mouth, broken skin and unaffected skin areas.
before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant. this medication is not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding as it may harm the baby.
