Glendan tablet is an antiemetic agent. It acts by blocking a chemical messenger called serotonin in the brain that causes nausea and vomiting. Glendan tablet is helpful to treat and prevent chemotherapy-induced or post-operative nausea & vomiting. Glendan tablet is given alone or in combination with other medications. Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. Don’t take excess doses. Usually, this medication is for few days only.
The common side effects of this tablet are headache, stomach upset or constipation, and feeling tired.
Inform your doctor immediately if there are symptoms that persist or worsen you.
Inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, heart problems, or gastrointestinal obstructions.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother.
