Spegra tablet is a combination of anti-retroviral medicines used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in adults, adolescents and patients weighing more than 40 kg. HIV virus attacks cells that help the body fight infection, making a person more vulnerable to other infections and disease and can be transmitted through contact with infected blood, semen or vaginal fluid. This medicine does not cure HIV but only prevents the virus from multiplying in your body. Close monitoring of the kidney and liver function is required while receiving this medicine. However, the uses mentioned are not exhaustive, there may be other conditions for which the medication may be used upon your doctor’s discretion.
