Airz belongs to the class of anticholinergic medication. It is a quaternary ammonium compound.
Airz works by stopping the actions of acetylcholine which acts on various sites in the body like the stomach, trachea and bronchi. It is used in the treatment of drooling, which is caused by neurological disorders like cerebral palsy.
The most common side effects of airz are mouth dryness, constipation, vomiting, drowsiness, fever, rashes, bad breath, headache and dehydration. If you experience the above side effects for a longer duration, immediately consult your physician. If you experience the side effects, your physician may adjust the dose according to your condition.
Regular dental checkups are necessary while using this medication.
