Demo is an antidepressant agent used in the treatment of depression. It shows the effect by elevating the levels of natural substances in the brain, which plays a vital role in maintaining mental balance. Swallow the tablet as a whole with a glass of water at bedtime. The dose and duration of medicine depend on the severity of the disease.
The most common side effects include weight gain, dryness in the mouth, abnormal voluntary movements, difficulty in urination, increased heart rate, orthostatic hypotension, constipation, parkinsonism, akathisia, dystonia, insomnia and drowsiness.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you have blood problems, breathing problems (e.G., asthma, copd), personal or family history of glaucoma, intestinal problems, heart problems, kidney problems, liver problems, other mental/mood conditions, family history of mental/mood conditions or suicidal thoughts, history of the neuroleptic malignant syndrome, movement disorders, overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism), problems urinating, seizures, conditions that may increase your risk of seizures (e.G., electroshock therapy, stroke, alcohol withdrawal) and about your consumption of alcohol to avoid unnecessary effects.
