Sumo Spray is a topical analgesic (pain killer) medication primarily used to relieve joint pain, low back pain, sprains, strains, and muscular pain. Also, Sumo Spray is used to reduce pain and swelling in muscles and joints in conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Arthritis is a condition that causes swelling of one or more joints resulting in pain and stiffness of joints that worsen over time.

Sumo Spray is a combination of four drugs namely: Diclofenac (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), Capsaicin (analgesic), Menthol (cooling agent), and Camphor (mild pain reliever). Diclofenac works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain responsible for causing pain and symptoms of inflammation such as redness and swelling. Capsaicin works by blocking pain signals to the nerves and relieves minor pain in the joints and muscles. Menthol works initially by cooling the skin followed by warming it up. This helps in improving blood circulation. Camphor helps to relieve pain.

If you are allergic to Sumo Spray or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Sumo Spray. Do not apply heat or wrap the treated area of the skin with bandages. Avoid using Sumo Spray in more than prescribed doses, or on a large area of skin for a prolonged time as it may cause adverse effects. Do not apply Sumo Spray on areas of infection, peeling skin, rash, burn, or open skin wounds. Do not use sunscreens, cosmetics, lotions, insect repellent, or other medicated skin products on the treated area of the skin.
